We are so proud to be taking part in The Great Gardens of Cornwall’s Great Art Auction!
The project will see 9 artists, each taking one of the The Great Gardens of Cornwall as inspiration. They will be creating unique pieces of artwork to celebrate what spring means to them. The pieces will be auctioned at an event to raise funds for Cornwall Community Foundation
The artist we’ve chosen to create our artwork is Trebah's own Mary Jago, who has not only worked at the garden for a number of years but, as you will see, is also a very talented artist. Check out some of her preliminary work above, with more to come soon!
All of the artworks will be displayed in an exhibition at Lemon Street Market 9am - 5pm from the 13th of June to the 20th of June (closed Sunday the 18th). The auction will take place on the evening of Tuesday the 20th. Doors will open for a drinks reception at 6.30pm, and the bidding will start at 7.30pm.
