Accessibility
At Trebah Garden, we warmly welcome every visitor and are committed to making every visit as enjoyable and accessible as possible
As we are a valley garden, with some steep pathways leading down to the beach, we recommend suitable walking shoes.
We advise that manual wheelchairs will find the gradients challenging and therefore are not recommended in the garden. Our Visitor Centre, located at the top of the garden, is fully accessible and step-free.
We offer a range of facilities to support our disabled visitors, including step-free routes where possible, accessible toilets, disabled parking, handrails, and mobility vehicles available to hire.
We are continually working to improve access across the garden and actively collaborate with disabled visitors and disabled organisations to develop thoughtful, practical solutions. We always welcome feedback to help us make Trebah an even more inclusive and enjoyable place for everyone.
If you have any access needs, including using your own mobility scooter, please call us on 01326 25200.
Tramper mobility vehicles
Our two Tramper mobility vehicles are available to hire from 10am for all day use and must be pre-booked. To book, please call the office on 01326 252200 or email [email protected].
Our Trampers are very popular and in spring & summer we recommend booking them around a week in advance to avoid disappointment.
These vehicles cannot access the visitor centre, therefore please bring any other walking aides that you might require.
Carer Tickets
We provide free entry to Trebah garden and events for carers (up to a maximum of 2) accompanying the person they care for. The person you care for will still need to either pay for entry or have Trebah membership.
