Adventure Play Areas
Trebah’s play areas are the perfect place to let your children explore and enjoy the great outdoors.
Whether you’re looking for weekend activities, after-school fun or a family-friendly day out in the summer holidays, Fort Stuart and Tarzan’s Camp will keep kids of all ages entertained during your garden visit.
We ask parents to provide responsible supervision at all times within our adventure play areas.
Fort Stuart
For children under 5
Fort Stuart is a small wooden fort play area for children under 5, including a slide, sloped climbing wall and a fireman’s pole. It’s a space for our youngest visitors to have lots of fun, and let their imaginations run wild in a secure space made for exploration and adventure.
There are also rocking horses and sensory activities and puzzles on the walls. Please note, dogs are not allowed in Fort Stuart.
Tarzan’s Camp
For children over 5
Tarzan’s Camp is nestled under a canopy of huge trees and has a fantastic wooden play area with a climbing frame, ropes, a slide, nets and a trim trail.
Designed for children over 5, this adventure play area is perfect for letting older kids swing, climb and scramble among the trees, creating their own jungle adventures, with benches for parents nearby.
Children’s Trails
Trebah offers Children’s Trails throughout the year. The trails have been devised to be both educational, interesting and fun, and to appeal to children of all ages. A trail is the ideal way to ensure you have a wonderful adventure during your visit and the chance to see and learn about different parts of the garden, as well as the wildlife that lives there.
There are also seasonal trails that are changed regularly throughout the year, often coinciding with the school holidays.
We always have a free trail available, or you can purchase other trails for just £2 per child, which include a small prize at the end.
