I am delighted to announce that Trebah has this week been afforded a Gold Accolade under the VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme’s annual awards. The Gold Accolade is reserved for the country’s very best attractions and recognises excellence across all areas.
Across the country just 30 attractions have been awarded a Gold Accolade. Trebah Garden is the only attraction in Devon and Cornwall to achieve this recognition. In the South West Region there are just 2 other attractions achieving the Accolade. They are Haynes International Motor Museum near Yeovil and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust site at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire.
This award is recognition of all of our team’s commitment to delivering consistently a high level of quality across all elements of our offerings and facilities and in delivering a first class welcome and hospitality. I am grateful for the staff’s supreme efforts and enthusiasm through what has been and indeed still are very challenging times and delighted this has been recognised.
Whilst on the subject, we have also been shortlisted in the Large Visitor Attraction category for the Cornwall Tourism Awards, with the awards ceremony soon to take place on 17th November; so we will be again “going for Gold”!
