Trebah is a valley garden and therefore has steep sections and steps to some paths, making wheelchair use difficult. Approximately 80% of the garden is accessible by a motorised wheelchair.
We currently have 2 Ranger Motorised Wheelchairs and 1 Carer-Controlled Wheelchair, available at no cost to the visitor, for use in the garden. A full demonstration will be given by a trained member of staff. We strongly advise visitors to telephone to book in advance, as they are very much in demand. Telephone: 01326 252200.
Trebah continually works to ensure that all visitors, no matter what their ability, can gain the most from their visit and have the best possible access to our facilities and services. If you have any constructive feedback you would like to give us, regarding your experience at Trebah, please do not hesitate to contact us.
