Winter Florals Painting Workshop

Join local artist Lucy Innes Williams for an energetic, uplifting painting workshop.

Focusing on foliage and flowers of the early Winter season, paintings will take inspiration from Lucy’s expressive, colourful style.

Participants will be encouraged to draw and paint freely using a number of warm up exercises and observational drawings.

Final paintings will be composed of a posy of seasonal foliage and flowers chosen by workshop attendees. Paintings and studies will be made using gouache, acryla gouache, oil pastel, pencil and pen.

Weather permitting, the workshop will begin with warm up exercises in Trebah’s Court Garden before returning to the warmth of Trebah’s festive exhibition space.

No experience necessary and all materials are provided. This is a workshop that encourages loosening up and trying new ways of drawing and painting from still life compositions.

Participants are encouraged to arrive from 10am to grab a coffee and be ready to start the workshop at 10:15. Please dress warmly for sketching outdoors for 15-20minutes.
