Find Joy In Autumn

Find joy in autumn: a nature journaling workshop with Hannah Bevan Friday 29th September, 10.30am until 12.30pm

Tickets: £30 (includes a two hour workshop and discounted entry to the whole garden)

This uplifting creative workshop led by Hannah Bevan is designed to help you feel more joy, gratitude and connection to nature as we enter the season of autumn, all in the stunning setting of The Court Garden at Trebah.

You’ll first learn a little about the benefits of journaling and mindfulness in nature with an introductory talk from Hannah, the Falmouth-based author of the Hometown Journal and founder of Journal For Joy. Then alongside a small group you’ll complete a series of guided journaling prompts with a mix of writing, drawing and mindfulness activities – all on the theme of autumn and the nature that surrounds us. There will be the opportunity to share and discuss your journal entries too, to inspire each other and spread the joy!

Your ticket includes a discounted entrance fee to the whole of Trebah, so you can explore at your leisure after the workshop and enjoy the dazzling autumn displays in the sub-tropical garden and private beach.

What to expect:

  • A two hour workshop with 5-6 guided journaling activities led by Hannah, including writing and drawing. You don't have to be experienced in either of those things to take part. All abilities are welcome! Please bring your own notebook and pens/pencils.
  • The workshop will be held in The Court Garden, which is a beautiful outdoor space with undercover areas in case it rains. Please dress appropriately for the weather and remember to bring something warm because you’ll be sitting still for much of the workshop.
  • Discounted entry to the whole garden as part of your ticket (£13 from each ticket sale is going to Trebah. Admission is usually £15, £16.50 including Gift Aid).
  • A 15% discount code for the Hometown Journal, should you wish to purchase one after the workshop.

If you have any questions about the workshop, please email Hannah on [email protected].
