Adam Halls weaves a narrative that transcends the boundaries between textile art and painting. He is born and bred amidst the undisturbed beauty of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.
Adam’s work is meticulously crafted through the convergence of layers of fabric and paint, united with a variety of stitching techniques and impasto painting.
His pieces unfold as incredibly complex tapestries. Textile is carefully assembled and fused together on a sewing machine over the course of many weeks, each painting built from dense layers of colour.
The exhibition is free to view in Trebah's exhibition space.
