Botanical Casting Workshop

Join Hazel Oliver of Badger & Birch Studio for a festive workshop to create your own botanical casting in an eco resin.

In this botanical casting workshop you will be led through the techniques in pressing, casting and finishing your own botanical casting piece ready to take home following the workshop.

Hazel Oliver started making imprint castings of her foraged and found elements creating small botanical tiles. In this workshop the surroundings of Trebah Gardens are at the heart of the workshop utilising collected and foraged specimens to create your own botanical casting in an eco resin; a plaster-like material.

Hazel Oliver is a Falmouth based artist known for her work exploring the use of reclaimed natural and recycled elements that she has foraged and collected from her local surroundings. She celebrates natural textured by combining her found and fallen elements into cast forms and vessels in eco resin.
