Spring is finally starting to take hold at Trebah!
Our champion Magnolia campbellii is fast approaching full bloom, with camellias popping with colour and rhododendrons not far behind. Just a reminder, there’s no need to book for a visit – just come along and enjoy the garden at your leisure.
The Boathouse reopens…
On Saturday 4 March we are delighted to be reopening the Boathouse Beach Cafe, followed by the Plant Centre on Monday 6 March, for the summer season.
Although it may be a little cold for a Roskilly’s ice cream at the moment, the Boathouse will be fully-stocked with hot and cold drinks, snacks and a scoop or two of your favourite flavour, ready for the walk back up the garden.
The Plant Centre and Conservatory shop will open their doors again, full to the brim with house plants, sub-tropical delights, seasonal favourites and garden gifts.
Be sure to visit them both during your visits in March!
One more thing…
As we mentioned in last month’s newsletter, there are lots of exciting changes coming to Trebah this year, including moving back to 7-day-a-week opening, as well as opening at 9.30am.
