Learn about the theory and use of colour, mixing paint, composition, and various painting tools and techniques to allow your work to stand out in a crowded gallery.
As the garden fires up to burst into all its Spring glory we will take a look at some of the vibrant colours to be found across Trebah, recreating them back at our base in the conservatory at the front of the house.
With such a small capacity this workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced painters so come and have go at abstract painting with acrylics on canvas!
Karen is a Professional Artist and Member of the Penwith Gallery, St Ives Society in St Ives and the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. She is predominantly an abstract artist and exhibits widely across the South West.

All materials will be provided but please bring an apron or old clothes as things could get messy!
You will use the garden and the conservatory at the front of Trebah House.
The workshop is 3 hours long including a break.
