Following our recent gold win at the 2025/26 Cornwall Tourism Awards, we are delighted to announce that we have now been put forward by the Cornwall Tourism Awards judges for national recognition at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.

This nomination comes just weeks after we took home the top prize in the Large Visitor Attraction category at the Cornwall Tourism Awards, held at Truro Cathedral on Thursday 13 November 2025. The event brought together leading attractions from across the county, celebrating those who have demonstrated exceptional quality, innovation and dedication within Cornwall’s tourism sector.

Although it will be a few months before we find out if we are shortlisted, the nomination shines a national spotlight on the garden’s excellence, our quality visitor experience, and the continued investment in Trebah’s future.

Trebah CEO Jon Cummins, who has overseen two years of growth and development since taking the helm, says: “It was a real honour for all of us at Trebah to be presented with a Gold Award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards recently. To learn that we’ve been nominated for the Visit England awards is fantastic – a real testament to the hard work and dedication of Trebah’s staff and volunteers. Time will tell if we should even be shortlisted, we are all keeping our fingers crossed”.

The VisitEngland award shortlist will be announced later in the year, and the Trebah team eagerly awaits the results.
