Trebah takes home top prize in the Large Visitor Attraction category
We’re delighted to share that we’ve taken home gold in the Large Visitor Attraction category of the 24th Cornwall Tourism Awards, hosted at Truro Cathedral on Thursday 13th November 2025.

The evening brings together nominees from all parts of Cornwall, who have been assessed and found to be the very best within the tourism sector.
Winning the award recognises Trebah’s excellence among the county’s top attractions and their commitment to a quality experience for all their visitors.

The Large Visitor Attraction category was hotly contested, with joint bronze awards going to Camel Creek Family Adventure Park and Lappa Valley, and silver going to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
Trebah Garden last entered the awards in 2022, winning silver in the same category. Since then, the garden attraction has seen a great deal of change to the team, including welcoming a new CEO, Jon Cummins, who has overseen two years of growth and investment in the garden’s future.
Trebah CEO Jon Cummins says: “Winning gold is a major achievement for Trebah. This award is fantastic recognition for the hard work, passion and care of our dedicated team of staff, volunteers and trustees. I would also like to thank our members, visitors and supporters – this award and our work as a garden charity would not be possible without their support and goodwill. Looking ahead to 2026 we are busy planning work to further improve the garden and access to make this great Cornish garden better still.”
Jon adds: “Congratulations must also go to the silver and bronze award winners in our category who are good industry friends as well as competitors.”

In addition to being open daily year-round, Trebah continues to grow as a cultural and community hub, hosting events, exhibitions and engaging with local schools and families.
The next major event in Trebah’s calendar is Stories With Santa; a chance for families to enjoy a unique festive story in the magical log cabin, write a letter to Santa, and receive a gift from the jolly man himself.
