The Witch Hazels are a genus of flowering plants, with 4 origintaing in North America, 1 in Japan and 1 in China.

There are also a number of cultivars, such as Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Arnold Promise’. This winter delight can be found on Radiata Path, where its leafless branches are filled with twisted yellow clusters of flowers.
