The Callistemon (bottlebrushes) are magnificent sun-loving evergreens native to Australia. The flowers are in cylindrical spikes consisting mainly of long stamens.

Callistemon citrinus 'Splendens' (pictured) can be enjoyed in all its glory at the very top of Beach Path, as you walk from Lawn Path towards the Koi Pool.
