Azara

Azara

Willow Family
Salicaceae

Saw-toothed azara, Azara serrata, is a small tree from Chile which produces a magnificent display of fragrant yellow flowers each spring. It gets its name from its glossy serrated leaves and whilst it grows throughout the garden, there are dominant plantings along Petry’s path and near the Amphitheatre.
