Also known as Snakeroots, Ageratina are shrubs or herbaceous perennials with opposite leaves and small tubular flowers borne in corymbs.

Ageratina ligustrina is great for attracting bees and butterflies and grows profusely around Alice's Seat. Its long lasting scented white flowerheads give this Mexican plant the name ‘Incense Bush’.
