A brand new exhibition from Buzz & Scuttle
Marvel at the diversity of insect species which can be spotted around the Helford estuary in an exhibition of over 100 insect illustrations, created by collage artist and insect enthusiast Marian Hill.
Learn how many insects provide vital environmental services including waste processing, soil improvement and pollination and become aware of simple ways in which we can protect and nurture these extraordinary creatures at all stages of development.
The exhibition is FREE to view in Trebah’s gallery space.
About Marian Hill
Marian Hill has been working as an illustrator for over 20 years for a wide range of publishing clients. She is currently collaborating with a range of environmental and community groups to enhance the profile of UK insects and regularly runs collage workshops with schools and communities. Her project website buzzandscuttle.com hosts a range of free insect teaching resources.
All Buzz & Scuttle insect illustrations are created by paper collage; tiny fragments of printed paper snipped from old magazines and photographs and pasted down with basic craft glue. Why not attend a half term workshop and create your own insect picture to take home!
