Sauna Ceremonies
Special longer sauna sessions with botanical steam infusions and calm winter warmth set within the beautiful surroundings of Trebah Garden
Sauna Del Soul at Trebah Garden is a guided, wood-fired sauna experience led by Matt, Sauna Master and founder of Sauna Del Soul.
Each session is carefully held and unhurried, combining traditional sauna heat with botanical steam infusions, breath, and moments of stillness. Drawing inspiration from Nordic sauna ritual and Trebah’s unique garden and coastal surroundings, the experience is designed to be grounding, restorative, and deeply relaxing.
Matt will guide each session, introducing heat gradually and working with seasonal botanicals to shape the steam and atmosphere. This is an adult-focused wellness experience, created to slow the pace, encourage presence and offer a meaningful moment of warmth during the winter months.
Please bring:
- Two towels (one to sit on, one to dry off)
- Swimwear
- Flip flops or easy footwear
- Warm layers for before and after your session
- Water bottle
There are no changing facilities on the beach, so please come prepared to change in the open.
This is a wood-fired sauna experience. All sessions are managed and a safety briefing is given before entry.
Please read this important information about events at Trebah:
Location: Please come to the Visitor Centre to check in. The event is being held on Trebah Beach. The Sauna has three high steps to enter.
Refreshment availability: Trebah Kitchen will be open. The Boathouse on the beach will be open for hot and cold refreshments for the October and April Sauna Sessions only.
Garden entry: Included. Non-members have half-priced Garden entry included in the Sauna ticket.
When to arrive: The walk to the beach from the entrance takes about 20 minutes. Please arrive in time for the session to start at the advertised time.
Facilities: There are no toilets on the beach.
Events will be cancelled in the case of extreme weather when there is a health and safety risk to attendees or staff.
