Create a creepy crawly collage and pin badge with illustrator Marian Hill
Come and spend a morning with Marian, from Buzz and Scuttle, to discover how to collage your own creepy crawly creation.
All materials are included and you will get to go home with a collage and your very own handmade badge of your bug! Collage is a very simple technique and this workshop suits all levels of ability, the workshop is recommended for ages 3+.
Due to capacity we respectfully ask that only one supervising adult books per child ticket. This means more children will be able to attend the workshop. Thank you
This workshop runs alongside the Creepy Crawly Collage Trail, available during October half term and the Buzz & Scuttle Exhibition that will be open throughout October in the Trebah exhibition space.
About the Artist:
Marian Hill is an artist who specialises in collage, with over 25 years’ experience as an illustrator, she has worked with a wide range of editorial clients including Waitrose Food Magazine, Country Living and Gardens Illustrated and designed numerous book jackets.
A love of the British countryside and worries about falling insect numbers inspired a change in direction and for the last 5 years Marian has been learning about UK insects and illustrating as many species as possible. These illustrations have been compiled into public information posters which are on display in a growing number of public green spaces, community gardens and schools.

Location: Please enter via the Visitor Centre. You will be directed where to go from there. The event is being held in Trebah House.
Refreshment availability: Trebah Kitchen will be open.
Garden entry: Not Included (not required for event) if you would like to explore the garden before or after non-members will need to purchase garden entry.
When to arrive: Please arrive with enough time for the event to start at the advertised time.
Dogs: Assistance dogs only please.
For a member ticket you must have a valid Trebah Membership. Reciprocal partnerships not valid.
