Make your very own plant pot stand or hot pot stand to take home from rope that has been recovered from the beaches of Cornwall.
Have a go on their mini rope maker and then create your item using traditional seamanship skills.
All materials and tools provided.

- Why ghost gear is such a problem.
- Safety when beach cleaning.
Heritage of rope making – Powerpoint & tools demonstrations.
- Have a go.
- Make a piece of rope using the downsized rope machine.
- Make a trivet/ plant pot mat from ghost gear rope using the heritage tools.

Location: Please enter via the Visitor Centre. You will be directed where to go from there. The event is being held in Trebah House.
Refreshment availability: Trebah Kitchen will be open.
Garden entry: If you would like to explore the garden before or after the workshop, non-members will need to purchase garden entry.
When to arrive: Please arrive with enough time for the event to start at the advertised time.
Dogs: Assistance dogs only please.
