Trebah boasts excellent visitor facilities in the stylish, award winning £1.5 million Hibbert Centre.  The modern design is reminiscent of a tea or rubber planter’s bungalow and there is a verandah overlooking the lush sub-tropical planting below.  The Planters Café, Gallery Shop and Garden Shops occupy inter-connecting spaces full of light and airiness. 

You are most welcome to partake of refreshments, visit the Gallery Shop, Garden Shop and Plant Sales even if you are not planning to visit the garden.  Planters Cafe is open every day between 10.30am and 5pm

Despite its size, the centre is landscaped into the hillside and the huge copper roof is barely visible from the garden below, while the whole visual impact is softened by verdant planting.
