"This is my first time here, but it won't be my last" Sara, Plymouth
Trebah Garden won Silver in their Class in the Floral Marquee at this year's Royal Cornwall Show. Inspired by Hydrangea Valley, Mallard Pond and Bridge, the Show Garden was designed by Nicola Wharton, Trebah's Garden Archivist. A model bridge was built by Derek Greenall and over 30 hydrangea plants were bought in specially to re-create this iconic part of Trebah Garden.
Visitors to the show were genuinely enthusiastic about the show garden, with comments such as "wow, that looks just like Trebah" and "what a stunning display, we will come back and visit".
Trebah also had a Trebah Plant Centre stand, selling many of the varieties of plants that can be seen in the garden, offering knowledge and advice, as well as seeing new and old friends of Trebah.
