Opening Hours

The garden opens every day at 10am and closes at 6.30pm. The last entry to the garden is at 4.30pm.

Planters Cafe opens between 10am and 4.30pm.

The Gallery Shop and Garden Shop open at 10am and close approximately 5.30pm.

The Conservatory Shop/Plant Sales area open at 11am until approximately 5.30pm.

The Garden is open every day of the year.  The Shops and Planters Café are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Admission Prices

If you are a UK taxpayer you can help by making a gift aid declaration.  The Government’s Gift Aid scheme allows us to reclaim the tax already paid on your contribution.  This means that your payment can increase in value by nearly one third, at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK taxpayer and you kindly make a donation of 10% above the entry charge, the government will grant the Charity an extra 28%.

National Trust Members have FREE ENTRY from 1st October 2009 to 28th February 2010.

RHS Members have FREE ENTRY from 1st November 2009 to 31st March 2010

 1st March 2010 to 31st October 2010

 1st November 2010 to 28th February 2011

There is no charge to visit Planters Cafe,

the Gallery and Garden Shops.

Visitor Information

FREE parking for cars and coaches.

Dogs are welcome in the garden and on the beach - on a lead at all times please.  We ask that you leave your dogs outside Planters Café but they are welcome on the café veranda and in the picnic area.  Water bowls are available outside the visitor centre and poop scoops given to dog owners on arrival.

When visiting the garden by public transport we offer half price entry on presentation of a valid Western Greyhound bus ticket.
