Yushania

The genus Yushania comes from the Himalayas at lower elevations.

All members of this genus are moderately invasive and normally need some control.

Similar to Yushania anceps but distinguished by its grey-green culms and very rough culm surface. Forms an imposing specimen for larger sheltered gardens in mild areas such as Cornwall. From north east Himalayas.
