‘Capture the Jungle’ – Family art workshop

Get experimental under the guidance of artist Lisa Waldron in this family focussed art workshop at Trebah.

Using a variety of art materials you will create your very own Jungle scene taking inspiration from the work of artist Henri Rousseau and the jungle-like plant life of Trebah.

This workshop will take place out in the garden and is aimed at young people and families. Although suitable for all age children we would recommend this workshop for children aged 5+. All art materials are included.

£8 ticket includes workshop and access to the garden for 1x child + 1x accompanying adult. Additional adults must book standard garden entry ticket

About Lisa
Lisa Waldron is a multi-disciplinary artist whose most recent work features detailed pen drawings and atmospheric oil paintings. After growing up in Birmingham, Lisa gained a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Birmingham City University in 2011. In 2015 she gained a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design at University College London, followed by two years teaching in London. After spending hours on end sketching in the city parks, Lisa decided it was time to get closer to nature and made the move to Falmouth in 2017. She now lives and works with Penjerrick subtropical garden on her doorstep. Taking her work into a clinical setting, Lisa also facilitates meaningful and creative activities to patients on the wards at Treliske Hospital.
