Autumnal Writing Workshop

On this Workshop, writer and counsellor Polly Roberts will use the gardens as inspiration to share some rainy day writing exercises to uncover some seeds of ideas for winter warming. Autumn is the perfect time for turning inward and reflecting on what has been growing and what may be to come. Together through words, we will find moments of stillness, observation, and beauty to fill our cups before the darker winter months.

Polly is a writer and counsellor and facilitates creative writing workshops around Cornwall, specialising in Nature Writing and Writing for Wellbeing. In 2019, she was named by the British Council as one of three UK emerging nature writers. Her debut poetry collection, Grieving with the Animals was published in 2020. Her debut novel, Together We Evolve, a story of personal and environmental rewilding, was published in 2023. Dr Stephen Moss, author of Ten Birds That Changed The World, describes Polly’s writing as, ‘Deftly exploring the borders and boundaries between humanity and nature.’

Your ticket price to this workshop includes a copy of Polly's novel, RRP £14.99
