We are about to embark on an exciting and ambitious project to create a new walled garden on the site of our ground source heat installation.
The plans and budget were approved by the trustees of our charity, the Trebah Garden Trust, in April 2019 and a planning application relating to the proposed installation will shortly be submitted.
Next year it will be 30 years since the charity was formed and took ownership of the house and garden at Trebah. The new walled garden will be our 30th anniversary project.
It is expected that the main construction phase will commence early in 2020 with the aim of completing this by the autumn. Over the ensuing winter, work will be undertaken on the main features, paths and planting with the aim of the garden being opened to our visitors in Spring 2021.
