Trebah Plant Centre Is Open!

Trebah Plant Centre Is Open

We are delighted to be able to open Trebah Plant Centre again!

If you've visited us already since we reopened to the public, then you may well have noticed that Trebah Plant Centre is also back open. As you traverse the garden via our new one-way system, you will be directed through our Plant Centre on the way back to the car park and there you can find a whole host of locally-grown plants, so you can take a piece of Trebah back to your own garden.

Among the array of plants we have on offer, we're currently offering 25% off all azaleas and rhododendrons!

About the Plant Centre

What makes our Plant Centre special, aside from the friendly service and stunning location, is that many of the plants are grown in our own nursery, here at Trebah. If they're from further afield, then rest assured that they are sourced from the very best of our local Cornish growers who supply us with the finest plants available.

What time is the Plant Centre open?

Trebah Plant Centre is open from 10am to 4.30pm, Saturday to Wednesday and is closed Thursday and Friday (or the same as the Garden).

Can I come and visit the Plant Centre?

Yes, but you must book a ticket online beforehand. One of the conditions of our reopening is that we know who is on-site, for potential contact tracing purpose. As a result, we require all of our visitors - even Plant Centre shoppers - to book a ticket online and enter through our Visitor Centre.

Why not tie your visit to the Plant Centre in with a day out in our beautiful garden?

What's new in the Plant Centre

With our Garden Shop currently repurposed as our Gift Shop, we've migrated a large number of horticultural tools and gardening gifts into the Plant Centre, so they can purchased alongside your plants and seeds.

We've also got a new layout in the conservatory so be sure to poke your head through the door and check it out!

Social distancing in the Plant Centre

As you might expect, we have to adhere to social distancing guidelines and although we have made a few changes to the Plant Centre, we're confident that you'll have an enjoyable and safe visit. New measures are as follows:

  • A new one-way system from the Garden or Visitor Centre through the Plant Centre

  • Lines on the ground spaced at 2m, if you have to queue

  • Hand sanitiser is regularly available

  • We are asking visitors to only pick up a basket if necessary

  • Surfaces, shelves and baskets are cleaned regularly

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Plant Centre soon!
