19 July 2021: what to expect

Update: From Saturday 3 September 2022 onwards pre-booking to visit Trebah is no longer required

With the new changes in Government guidance, we want to update you on what will be changing at Trebah as of today, Monday 19 July.

You do still need to book!

Our booking system has proven invaluable over the last year, and to continue to accommodate all of our visitors within the parking constraints of the site, we intend to keep it in place. We will be recommending that everyone pre-books online for the coming months to avoid unnecessary trips and the disappointment of being turned away when the car park is full.

Masks

We will still encourage all visitors to wear face coverings whilst inside of the visitor centre. This is to protect our staff, especially those yet to have a second vaccine, and to create a welcoming space for the more vulnerable in our community.

Crockery will return

As a result of the relaxation of covid restrictions we will now be able to provide meals and drinks at Trebah Kitchen on plates and in cups. Thank you so much for your patience whilst we were in our Street Food format, we do know that you have been looking forward to using a proper knife and fork!

Removal of the one-way system

The one-way system has finally come to an end, members and visitors can again have the freedom to explore the garden on whatever route they would like to take. We also say a fond farewell to the traffic lights on the beach.
