Trebah's new amphitheatre was launched with great acclaim on Friday 29th August with Miracle Theatre ending their summer tour of 'The Tempest' at Trebah and performing to sell-out audiences over the weekend.
The official opening was undertaken by Robert Dudley-Cooke, Chairman of Trebah Garden Trust whose initial ideas formed the basis for the project, which commenced in November of 2012.
Our Director Nigel Burnett says "The project has been an inspirational one and the reaction of the audience to the new venue has been amazingly positive. We have created something of beauty, with longevity that will help support the creative and cultural sectors in the county and those in the wider community who seek pleasure in outdoor events and performances of this type, by providing a fantastic new and inspirational venue."
