The Boathouse is situated on the beach, built originally by Donald Healey, the motor racing driver and designer of Healey cars, to store his boats whilst he lived at Trebah from 1961-71.
The Boathouse serves fresh coffees, a range of teas and the famous Roskilly’s ice-cream in crunchy wafer cones. Everything from the fabulous ‘Hokey Pokey’ to old favourites like ‘Rum and Raisin’ as well as mouth-watering originals like ‘Strawberry’, ‘Chocolate’ and clotted cream ‘Vanilla’ are on offer. The Boathouse Cafe is open from March to September and is subject to weather conditions.
We provide complimentary buckets, spades and blankets and if you’ve forgotten your sun-cream, we even sell this too.
