We are forming a community choir as part of a spectacular event commemorating the 75th anniversary of DDay. "Operation Neptune" will be an epic theatrical performance with a cast of over one hundred actors following the true story of an American serviceman from the 29th US Infantry Division leaving Maryland, travelling to Cornwall and embarking from Trebah's beach.

The choir will be led by Ben Sutcliffe, Musical Director, who is composing all the music for Operation Neptune including that to be sung by the choir. There are a wide range of scenes through the show which the choir will accompany alongside a team of 4 musicians.

There will be a number of choir rehearsals during the build up to the performance on the following dates:

 Sunday 12 & Sunday 19 May 2pm - 4pm; Wednesday 22 May 6pm - 8pm & Wednesday 29 May 7pm - 9pm.

In the weekend before the show, we will also have 2 full day dress rehearsals on Saturday 8 & Sunday 9 June from 11.30am - 8.30pm alongside the full cast.

The performances run from Tuesday 11 - Saturday 15 June, we are anticipating we will need you from around 5.30pm on these day until 8.30pm, dependent on the performance as it develops.

If you are interested in joining the choir, please email esther@trebah-garden.co.uk or telephone 01326 252200 to register your interest or ask any questions about the project.
