Mousehole Cat Sells Out at Trebah Amphitheatre......Time to get booking for Miracle!

Cornish award winning open-air theatre company Miracle launch their summer season at Trebah Amphitheatre on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th with "Life's a Dream". Trebah Amphitheatre has proven itself to be Cornwall's newest "sell-out" venue with the Dream Team's enchanting production of "The Mousehole Cat" last month. Book now for the only venue to host Miracle's new 2016 summer show in the Falmouth area!

Based on Calderon’s greatest play, La Vida Es Sueño, Life’s a Dream is regarded as the jewel in the crown of Spain’s golden age of theatre. Miracle have applied their usual magic to this classic by trimming the text to the bone and then fleshing it out with vibrant original music and eye-popping physical performance that perfectly compliments a joyful use of language.

‘At its heart Life’s a Dream is very modern and existential’ explained Bill (Miracle's Director), ‘...but the story is packed with action, drama and passion and has a generous seam of comedy running through it. We’ve assembled a fantastic cast for the summer; Hannah Stephens, Catherine Lake and Ben Kernow will showcase their talents in both shows and are joined in Life’s a Dream  by Tom Adams, Steve Jacobs and performing with the company for the first time, Richard Hainsworth.’

Miracle has gained a reputation for producing comical, highly entertaining and thought-provoking shows suitable for anyone and everyone. With over 37 years of touring, their outdoor productions have become a ‘must do’ summer activity for Cornwall's cultural crowd!

“The joy of open-air performance is that every night is different and it really is an etiquette-free zone: you can sit where you want, eat what you want, wear whatever you like” says Bill “Plus, each setting is transformed as night falls; the actors can never be sure what to expect and must be ready to respond to a dramatic moonrise, a sudden shower or a wild animal trying to get in on the act. For players and audience this is a genuinely unique and shared experience.”

"Life's a Dream" is at Trebah on the 16 and 17 of June, performances start at 7.30pm and audiences are advised to arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the show begins to allow time to walk to the Amphitheatre. Miracle will return to the Amphitheatre on 2 and 3 of September with "The Magnificent Three" a rootin’ tootin’ toe tappin’ comedy western!

Bookings are being taken for both shows via our page www.trebah-garden.co.uk/amphitheatre (Just click the orange tab at the top of our homepage) or by calling the box office on 01726 879500.

So what are you waiting for? Gather your friends and family, pack up a picnic or pre-order a Trebah pasty and catch Miracle in the Amphitheatre soon!
