"This is my first time here, but it won't be my last" Sara, Plymouth
Spring is definately on its way, here at Trebah. Over 60,000 early spring flowering bulbs have been planted throughout the garden over the past few years, the impact of this scheme is now beginning to reward visitors with carpets of snowdrops, cyclamen and later in February, crocus and daffodils.
The Austrailian wattles are now beginning to light up the garden with their wonderful yellow flowers. Acacia pravissima and Acacia dealbata are both now in bloom. Many of Trebah's collection of over 300 camellias have already started to flower, including Camellia x williamsii 'Jenefer Carylon' which can be seen on Camellia Walk.
The wonderful fragrant scent of the the sweet box, Sarococca confusa can be seen at Alices Seat, a perfect place to take time out, reflect and enjoy the beautiful tranquility of the garden.
We also have many of our evergreen Azaleas now in flower, early for this time of year, on Beach Path and Badgers Walk.
