"This is my first time here, but it won't be my last" Sara, Plymouth
This Spring, visit Trebah and see the result of 4 years of planting 60,000 early spring flowering bulbs. From snowdrops, cyclamens, crocuses to varieties of daffodils, a fantastic display of colour can now be seen dotted around the garden.
Witness Trebah in all its magnificent technicolour glory. Beginn with the Magnolia campbelli or more commonly known the 'Pink Tulip Tree' with its rose-pink goblet-shaped blooms which look just like water lilies against a clear blue Cornish sky. The resplendent rhododendron valley and in particular, local favourite 'Trebah Gem' with its soft pink blooms contrasting wonderfully with the Acacia dealbata (Mimosa) with its splash of yellow iridescent, fragrant flowers. The camellias at Trebah are also not to be missed, with over 300 to enjoy, made up of more than 70 different species and cultivars, witness the variety of colours and forms including C.japonica 'Nuccio's Pearl' with its blush, white formal double bloom and the flamboyant orchid-pink of Camellia x williamsii 'Elsie Jury', amongst others.
